Black and Bleu Salad

Basic Recipe Info: 

salad for the 2015 steak menu

Prep Items: 

8 oz sirloin

1 T butter

1 T olive oil

pinch blackened seasoning

3 oz romaine chopped

2 oz spring mix

2 oz bleu cheese

6 red onion rings

8 grape tomatoes

2 oz balsamic vinaigrette

 

Prep Instructions: 

heat saute pan, add oil and butter to pan, coat steak with blackened seasoning and sear to desired temp

combine romaine, spring mix, 1/2 of bleu, onions, tomatoes, and toss with vinigrette

slice steak into 6 pieces, lay across top of salad and garnish iwth remaining bleu cheese
